Now in its 20th year, the Blaze of Glory 5K kicks off the Bucks 5K Series each spring with a family-friendly color run and a fast, USATF-certified 5K through Plumsteadville farmland.

The Course
A fast out-and-back course on Meetinghouse Rd and Curly Hill Rd through the scenic farmland of Plumstead Township. The 1st Alarm Fun Run is a 1-mile color run using nontoxic color powder; the 2nd Alarm Walk covers the same 3.1-mile course, untimed.

Celebrating its 20th year supporting local firefighters.
The Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company is an all-volunteer department that has served Plumstead and Bedminster Townships for more than 90 years, answering roughly 325 emergency calls each year. The Blaze of Glory 5K is their largest fundraiser of the year. Fire tax covers only about half of the department’s budget, and outfitting a single firefighter costs $3,500+ in gear before a $6,500 air pack.
